Oooh what village is that hun if you don't mind me asking!?

I'm trying to lose weight too hun! Back on trach cince becoming a SAHM put more on since xmas thanks to the girls i was working with in the office, all pretty big but stufffed their faces, thought they'd been very good if they'd had one salad that week for lunch! I did refrain (alot) but however when the am duty manager brought in goodies and bacon butties i felt i had to eat them...and some times fancied them!!!

Glad to hear you are okay hun!

Oooooh. I'm from Scunny. I have a DS 2.9 and a DD 5 months. I always thought that there was a bit of a MN blackhole around here but now I know.

Shiraz · 14/09/2005 10:36

Loobywoof, where abouts in Sunny Scunny are you? I live quite near to Forest Pines, just off the A15!

Hellooooooooooo, nice to 'meet you'!

Hi there. My partner and I are moving to the Scunthorpe area within the next few months (job offers pending etc) and would love to meet up with some other mums. We are a lesbian couple with a baby boy named Jude who is 5 months old. My partner, Ros, grew up in Scunny but we have lived in London and I have only briefly visited (well with enough time to go for a haircut at Paul Gordon and a slap up sunday lunch at the Warren Lodge). Anyway we are a bit nervous about meeting other mums partly because we don't know how people will react to us. In London no body seems to bat an eyelid at a 2 mum family but I'm not so sure how Scunthonians will feel. Any input? Are we mad to be moving to Scunny? Ros willbe a SAHM and will need some tips for the best mum&baby groups etc.

Help! we're scared!
