Cumbria meets

Hi

I have just joined this site after hearing about it on the news tonight and wondered if there are any meetups in the Cumbria area.

I am moving there next week and looking to make some friends in the area.

I am married for 10 years with one boy aged 5yrs. I am self employed but flexible in when I work. We are moving to Cumbria through my husbands job.

There have been a few meets, but they tend to be in the school holidays if I remember rightly, with a couple of Cumbria people and others on holiday in the area.

I've just recently moved into South Cumbria from Derbyshire and where I am there are a couple of MN'ers one of whom I meet regularly. Whereabouts are you?
