I think that would be a bit too far for me to travell for a day I live in Ayrshire where is cumbria is that near the lake district?

miaou is - she used to live on Muck but moved to the mainland, can't remember where. And bensmum3 is still on Muck (makes posting anything hell!)

never thought about going to England for the day would it take long by train? My mum lives in London and I loved visiting her though the links from here to there were great!
