So am presuming weeknight is best? Mon-Weds better for me, but equally could manage thurs if that was best for everyone else. w/c 15th or 22nd Feb?

Shall we fix a date, see who is coming and then pick somewhere in the middle?

Any night in that zone is good for me EXCEPT 16th Feb as I am going to a screening for a paper I write for and need to keep in with them I am presuming no infants??

MomOrMum · 26/01/2010 10:06

As far as I know either of those weeks is fine with me.

Mon, Tues or Thurs is best if we're meeting central London as I am at work, but could swing Wed too.

Thanks for organising!

Rubena · 26/01/2010 22:15

Hello, would like to try and make it (I'll be the cheerless?? one!) Any eve but Wed and that first week better for me

urbanewarrior · 27/01/2010 15:28

Rubes can you do 22nd? That seems like the most sensible option. And am not bringing my enfants but will happily coo at anyone else's.

Should be ok Urbane, but depends on where and what time etc. Do the 22nd if it works for everyone else though, as I could be a bit iffy.

TheInvisibleHand · 27/01/2010 22:56

I'd be up for joining you if I may - 22nd would be fine for me

sybilfaulty · 27/01/2010 23:02

I'm in! Are we going for the 22nd then? Is that a monday? And in the evening? I am at work in the day so can't really sneak off alas.

Looking forward to it.

Aubergines · 29/01/2010 20:42

Hello all. Monday 22 works for me. I will come straight from work so anywhere central would be fine. I finish at 6.15 so can meet anytime after that. x

urbanewarrior · 31/01/2010 20:53

Great - when I said 22nd I thought it was a Tuesday but that's how addled my mind is. Monday equally good though.

After work is good for me - Aub and I are in Westminster - Lady T presumably you'll be coming from Paddington as would you Rubes - Syb are you in the city? Invis? Mom?

All of which would probably add up to somewhere West End being sort of in the middle and not too much of a pain for anyone. Although my default option is always Soho...Am basically happy to go anywhere. And v much looking forward to pint glass of wine with you all

Nah Urbane, I'd end up at Waterloo on the train, however I'd prefer to drive as the parking at Waterloo is less than my train fare providing it's outside the congestion zone area or time.

LadyThompson · 01/02/2010 15:39

Yes, coming from Paddington. Happy to go anywhere really though I will be looking at your chilled glasses of cheerfulness with puppy dog eyes

TheInvisibleHand · 01/02/2010 17:59

I'd be coming from work in the City, anywhere centralish is fine for me.

sybilfaulty · 01/02/2010 20:26

Girls, I'm coming in from home that day so anywhere Waterloo ish or London Bridge way good for me.

LadyThompson · 18/02/2010 15:43

What about Saint-Georges Hotel at the top of Regent Street (so Oxford Circus tube), by Broadcasting House. I went there with Poison and Turnip once (and indeed Veggie and Spot another time ) There is a bar on the 15th floor, cool views. And if we are hungry there is a Pizza Express next door.

LadyThompson · 18/02/2010 15:50

Syb, you said somewhere near Waterloo so ignore me Anywhere is fine but I will have a pushchair so a hotel bar somewhere would be good (any on the South Bank?)

LadyThompson · 18/02/2010 15:54

Indeed there's a Marriott at County Hall with bars and lounges....

Beans33 · 18/02/2010 16:10

Ooh ooh, I might be able to come too - and Waterloo or West End are fine by me... Will keep an eye on this to find out where and when - if DH can do childcare... Fingers crossed! Hurray!

Turniphead1 · 18/02/2010 21:24

Did I hear my name taken in vain LadyT - happened to spot this. Will scroll down to find proposed date. Would love to meet up even though I never manage to get onto the main thread. x

Turniphead1 · 18/02/2010 21:27

Oooh - 22nd I could do that! Lady T why no booze??

LadyThompson · 18/02/2010 21:40

You know why now Please do come.

SummerLightning · 19/02/2010 11:16

Oh....I really fancy seeing you guys, I may see if I can make it even though it is a long way for me.
What time are you thinking of meeting? Oxford circus tube would be good for me.

EffiePerine · 19/02/2010 11:27

I may be able to make it! Will let you know. Am at work that day so anywhere central/Strand/Waterloo good for me.

EffiePerine · 19/02/2010 12:43

Looks like I can come after all. Do we have a venue? And can it include FOOD? A x

LadyThompson · 19/02/2010 14:10

Urbane was organising this, where is she?

As to food - put it this way, I WILL BE EATING, regardless of where we are....

sybilfaulty · 19/02/2010 19:25
