I have just moved to Edinburgh and have a four-month-old. I would love to meet up with other mums in the area - anyone around?

Great, 11 it is. I haven't been there before either but someone said there is a coffee shop there. Shall we meet in that? How will we recognise each other? Any chance you can take a couple of hours off from the revision, Beansmum? How about you, Spots?

Oh no! Unbeknownst to me, dh has organised a few days away unfortunately including sunday 15th. You ladies will have to carry on without me... I would love to meet another time with you though...

Hope I can find you, I'll be the one with a maclaren pushchair and the most gorgeous baby in the world. I'll probably be wearing a red top, bean will be in a scotland rugby shirt. Or he might not, depends what's clean.

I'll be there! I'll be wearing crap clothes b/c I'm too big to fit in my normal ones, but not big enough for maternity yet. I have dark hair and eyes, but my daughter has very light brown hair and green eyes. She'll be wearing her harness and trying to run away from me.

oh bum. Had forgotten have baba's cousins birthday on the Sunday in Dunfermline. (got al caught up with the excitement of first birthday on wed - cousins birthday is day after).

So instead of fun at city farm will be fun in bridge holdups (rolls eyes!)

Can i but in i may manage too i have 3 kids at 9 7 and 2,im out in livingston so can easily get into town on the train or the bus.My eldest ds has autism and many difficulties but we will try and make it,it has been such a long time since we have been out because its difficult with ds but we will try if thats ok!!
I will be the mum with bald patches chasing after 3 children !!

Hi ladies, I'm new to mumsnet but I have been speaking to weesadie and beansmum through netmums. My names Rosie and I have a (almost) 7 month old wee boy, Tarun. I would like to come to Gorgie Farm aswell although I don't know exactly where it is. If I do, I will be the Indian girl and I will have the Chicco Xplorer buggy.

I also wanted to let u girls know, there is a launch party on Saturday 14th (evening) at the Opal Lounge if anyone would like to come and can make it with this short notice!! If you check on www.yummymummyevents.com on the listings page u will see full details. It is for mums, dads, parents-to-be so get a babysitter or get hubby to watch the kids!! Free admission.

It should be quite easy to find, it's easy to spot from the road, on the left side of gorgie road as you go away from town.

can someone give this a bump on saturday night? I'll forget otherwise.

I'll give it a bump, beansmum. I'll be around on Sat. night. Am pregnant and feeling a bit rough so mostly stay in these days.

Hope to see you both there, Loobie and MrsRA. Loobie, my daughter will be 2 in June. Think it's a wonderful age for kids to enjoy the animals!

DH will enjoy some time to himself as well.

I'd have considered coming across to edinburgh from Glasgow (ds loves trains), but I am going to be otherwise occupied on Sunday.... running the Glasgw 10k !

I am in livingston not too far from the toon!!!!!!

I have 3 boys 1 @ 3 and 16 month twins

Would also love to meet up but this weekend is out for me IM AFRAID

I stupidly said i would babysit overnight for dh sisters 3 my god how stressed am I!!!!!!!!!!

erk... just in case anyone's checking this thread before leaving, DD is under the weather today. Think she is ok but taking it gently; it was ger birthday yesterday and she's prob. just recovering from the excitement. Will def. be late if we manage it at all...
