and www.rollercoaster.ie/ (sorry cant be bothered to do actual link)
I dont like Rollercoaster personally but Eumom can be ok but I would say it is more parochial than this site

I don't like rollercoaster either. Maybe its just me but I find having to type in username and password for each post annoying

And if you don't tick a little box at the beginning they e-mail you every time someone replies to your post. If that happened here my e-mail would EXPLODE!!

I have never posted (I am a champion lurker - have only posted here in the last couple of months but have read the site for 3.5 years) but it can get very b"£chy and seems to have been badly plagued by Trolls or some very odd middle aged Irish men!!!

I miss my family and friends, but the only way I would go back now is with a lottery win under my belt.

I phone my mammy every day, some times twice a day and I never stint myself on phone calls.

sorry LGJ was breast feeding so was typing one handed. Where are you based? Was wondering do you have any suggestions in the area we could take my five yr old for his birthday party. I am sick of the soft play area parties and wanted to do something different this year. Are dd is nearly five weeks old so havnt had time to do anything about it as it is in two and a half weeks. My kids think Tullamore is the best town in Ireland. Because there is a waterwheel in the shopping centre. Ideal place to meet up!

no worries tiny, think its great that Irish mnrs can get a chance to chat whether here in Irealnd or the Uk, one or two have connected up, so a bit proud of the thread, hope it spans out Ps would like to stress this is not an exclusive Irish thread pps hi skerriesmum, skerries is a wee bit out, but sure if we got to know each other and hit it off, we could always meet up in town for a coffee sometime, weather, kids, job and if we click permitted
