Hello Plantpot. There doesn't appear to be many Newcastle mums hanging about, does there? Unless we're all really shy, which i doubt.

Have decided to be a SAHM since DS2 came along and finding it quite tough going, especially as all my friends work.

MN keeps my sane (relatively). How about you?

I'm not from Newcastle but as you are I thought i would just mention that the girl who died from cancer (she was on the front page of the chronicle) was a good friend of mine.

Yes Sparkler1, although I didn't read the paper, I did read your thread and I was really touched. They look like such a happy family and my thoughts are with her DH and DS.

Do you know how they are getting on?

No I don't know how they are. Didn't really know her dh. I met her at ante-natal classes with her ds before she got together with her dh (was with another guy then)

I'd love to move back up north too Mosschops30, mu dh isn't having any of it either.
