Any mums in Brentwood??

Hi there,
I am a mum to 10 month old little girl. We are looking to make some new friends in Brentwood. We are moving to Shenfield from London at the end of this month and won't know anyone. Anyway if you are keen to chat or meet for coffee etc...just send a message!

I'm in Chadwell Heath,so not far from Brentwood.We have a Ds who is 13 months,so would be great to chat/meet up,especially as they're a similar age.

hi bubbaloo and nutty nat would be great to meet didn't realise how many friends dissapear just because you have had a baby lol there is a great park in brentwood the kids would love it hope to talk soon i have to admit im new on here not sure how to get round the site properly or what to do in fact so hope you can just laugh off any mistakes i make just let me know if ive done somin wrong lol take care

I used to live inb rentwood, theres a fab thing on a monday morning at the brentwood centre for babies that age. me and my friends loved taking our little ones there. and king georges park is great.

thanks carlyp i live not far from king georges park i dont drive so im glad of that just wanting to meet other people in same situation as me as all my friends are single and gradually having less to do with me in fact its basicly non existant the ones i am talking to have children but moved away so im kind of starting over its a bit scary ive always been surrounded by friends hope you are ok

we moved to brentwood fomr rayleigh when i was preg in 2003, no friends in the area, so i know what you mean. did meet ppl though at the post natal group. then had my 2nd ds and moved to sheering, nr bishops stortford, same thing again, trying to make friends etc, but it isnt easy. hope you all meet up.

oh right not to far away then i think my aunt lives over that way,
they are stunning little boys well my son isn't that much older than your eldest does your son speak much my son has delayed speach although really trying to say things at moment, apart from the speech he is capable of doing what 3 yr olds can do he looks older too so people to look funny when he starts to babble

No,they're very close in age arent they-his was 2 in June.
Ds1 was quite late in talking but he makes up for it now-he doesn't stop and his favourite word at the mo is "why" which is driving me potty.
He's also quite tall for his age but very skinny.Whereabouts in Brentwood are you?

i live just near the station my son was 26 april so onl;y just over month difference,
well your son is doing good with talking then my son really only says a few things but at least he is trying i think he wanted to succeed at everything else first he is a very independant little boy lol probably got his fathers stubborn streak lol

thanks very much well i hope you have had good weekend my dp has ben working in irelans for 3 weeks did get home for 2 days shoul;d be back tomorrow so i'm so looking forward to that it will be strange having a man about the house again lol
