Hiya, just had my son (a Hallowe'en baby! ) and have recently moved to Taunton. Been trying to find new friends to go along with all the "new" in my life. Hoping some of you are interested....

Hi

Sorry Im no where near you but I moved to a new area when my DS was born, mother and toddlers groups are great for meeting new mums or Netmums.com is good there is a board on there where you post a bit about yourself and you will recieve replies from your area.

Ive made 4/5 friends from there and hey all live locally.

HTH a bit.

Have you tried the Mumsnet Local boards on here? Click on the link at the top of the page.

As your baby is so young, ask HV about local baby groups (toddler groups can be a little full on with a tiny baby). We used to go to an 'under ones' group at the local clinic, baby massage was good too.

Check out NCT as well - you don't have to be a member - they often have 'bumps and babes' groups, kind of coffee mornings round peoples houses.

Also try the local boards, am in Bristol and have met several local MNers over the past 2 yrs.
