I did indeedy flame except yesterday and yes I was that late appling for it! They were not happy with my passport photo's so they sent me downstairs to redo the photo's, yeah fair enough................except I was having a v bad hair day, had been wearing a hat, so the hair was flattened to within an inch of my life.

I'd had my eyebrows waxed earlier and my upper lip so if the old adage of if you look anything like your passport photo you definately need a holiday holds very true for me!

No one ever recognises 'serenity' when I have her on a badge (is a rather lush firefly class spaceship) so I might just have Dean Winchester, so at least I've something to look at when nobody talks to me in the quiet moments

Okay, just got back from buying 3 colours of opaque tights in fit of indecision as I LIKE the purple ones but am scared you lot will point and laugh if I wear them....

So, my dressing dilemma - I have the beginnings of a stinking cold and am tempted towards comfy but v. mumsy jeans, boots and nice top.

Or do I say hell to it and wear the sleeveless flimsy LBD which I will freeze in but otherwise will probably never get to wear this year?

Am tempted towards the LBD as I have v. poor circulation and once I'm on the dance floor I get very hot and have to wear as little as humanly possible, but am also dead old and these days can probably only manage 2 dances in a row before falling over in a heap... waah! Don't know what to do!

And if I go for the LBD, do I wear it with blue, pink or purple tights?

Or, given the weather, perhaps all 3?? (might hold the tum in!)

It's feckin' freezing out there this morning! But have guilt tripped persuaded DH to drive Pillock and I to the do so we will be warm on the way there. Should arrive at 6.30pm ish (as I'm bringing the music I need to be there handy, don't I?).

I have no badge, I shall be the one looking/sounding like Moaning Myrtle on a bad hair day (if I'm wearing my glasses, that is, haven't yet decided).
