(long shot) anyone near Lincoln?

Just a thought. I'm getting quite homesick at the moment and dd and I are visiting the UK (Lincoln) in March for a few days.

Feel like I'm missing out on the meet-up thing really. Anyone around? (if not we're visiting for longer in the summer).

Oh fantastic. fancy a mini-meet up between the 14th and 17th March (like I say, it's a flying visit).

Also how do I explain to family that I feel the need to meet up with a stranger and eat into family visiting time?

Where are you in Lincoln anyway?

What fun! Bracebridge Heath, so how about a meet up in town. With kids? Do you have any preference as to a place? Not much that is very child friendly other than the Wacky Warehouse type stuff. Could do lunch and then a trip to a park I suppose if the weather is good. I am childless in the week in the mornings, but we could 'do' tea as an option. Anyone else interested?

I always wanted to run away from my family when I visited them but never had the nerve!!

dd is only little so whatever really. (as long as a pushchair will fit). Don't know Lincoln well - all my old haunts have closed down, but we'll be staying near the centre.

I thought I'd just add to this thread to see if there is anyone else around.

hmb - do you still want to meet up?
