Right West Midland Mummies and anyone else who can get here, what are we going to do for Christmas? We need names, days, ideas for places.

Think after the disaster of the last 'meet up' I shall give it a miss this time.

We have to do something for Christmas I'm happy to arrange something for this year that won't leave us in difficulty like last year and I'm sure we can get people coming for a Christmas do.

I really want to try to organise something for us for Christmas. I'm also going to bump the other thread because I have some other ideas too.

Everyone put a deposit down and so many people pulled out that there wasn't enough because a room had been booked so everyone lost their deposits.

Depending on how many people want to come will depend on where I arrange it and I'll try to avoid a situation where we will lose out.

That would be great! I don't know what's going to happen for the rest of this year with this pesky baby so would be good to have someone else helping.

I'm due in February but went into labour just over a week ago at 24+5. They stopped it happening, but I'm still getting contractions and I tested positive for fibronectin which could mean baby could come within the next ten days. I was expected to have a premature baby because my last two were, but hadn't thought it would be this early!

I might be up for it...but its always been in Solihull or somewhere like that before and I have trouble getting there. I thought you were a newbie tink...did you have a different name before?

City Centre is probably the best place to hold it. I thought it was supposed to be Birmingham last year.

I've been here about 18 months, not changed my name.

I've posted on another thread about arranging some family meet ups. I've asked if anyone wants to do something on Wednesday and also suggested a Victorian Evening at The Black Country Living Museum. Someone please post over there cause it would be lovely to do and I need something to look forward to!
