Hi there, I'm new and a bit bedazzled by the amount of messages on here! I saw there were some people from Somerset - but their postings seemed to be a couple of years ago so I wondered if there was anyone from these counties still on here? I would be interested in meeting. Best wishes Mandy

Hi, nice to meet you! Thanks for replying! How old are your kids? I have a son who is 12 and a daughter who is 7. We live in Somerton and there is not a lot going on there for single parents! My son has just started school at Huish in Langport. Are yours at school?

How long have you been on mumsnet? Sorry to ask so many questions, but its all new to me. There seem to be HUNDREDS of messages to wade through!

we are going to Hestercombe House for their hallowe'en trail if thats any interest? Probably lunch on the 31st, maybe a picnic or in the cafe. Mandy

Will do! We have lots up our sleeve, but maybe nothing suitable til next year. We are going to Exploer-at-Bristol on a Sat in Nov - but may be too far and your dd too young?
We need the spring to come!

I have DS1 11, DS2 9 next week! DD1 5 and DD2 4.
I am going to look into the @Bristol meet up to see how much the train will be. Have a family rail card so it shouldn't be too bad.
