Just moved here and wondered if any mums were free to meet up for coffee sometime.. and there are far too many great coffee shops to choose from ( I'm not complaining tho:-)

I have a DD who is almost 6months, am back at work next week (argh!) but don't work Wednesdays and would be up for a coffee, I'm Epsom but spend lot's of time in Guildford

navidad · 02/09/2008 20:52

that would be nice-how about after a couple of weeks after you start work so you find your feet slowly with the new routine.

Sounds good. I have a dd who is nearly 8 months. I'll put in a request for 17th Sept or 1st Oct to get the ball rolling, if it's not being too forward

EyeballsintheSky · 02/09/2008 21:05

OMG just read that back and it sounds really pushy!

Sorry to hijack thread. Ewe please get in contact with me asap re Saturday. Don't worry, no problems I just need an adress for delivery of the cakes. Can I drop them over on Friday late afternoon/eveing rather than Saturday as we are off to London for dh's granmother's birthday lunch on Saturday so would be bit of a rush?

Ewe · 03/09/2008 23:31

COV - I emailed you back, have you not received it?

Ewe · 03/09/2008 23:32

Arrghh, I emailed you yesterday and got a bounce back (my email problem) and sent again at half three. You posted this before then so hope you have my email at last! If not, give me a shout and I will get over to you ASAP. Thank you!

ComeOVeneer · 04/09/2008 17:55

EWE got your email yesterday. Cakes are coming along nicely. Not sure what time i will be over to you. I may wait until dh is home so I don't have to come with children. What is the latest you would want me over? Otherwise I can do it late afternoon with children.

As late as you like (within reason!) You'll actually be dropping it at my Mum's and we're not doing anything. Glad it is all going well, very excited to see it!

EyeballsintheSky · 27/09/2008 21:07

Bumpety bump

Is anyone around for this or do we need arrange another
date? It's short notice now if it isn't in your diaries

Ewe · 28/09/2008 23:19

I had to change my working day next week so I'm not off on Thu - sorry! [mutters about her unreasonable employer]

Another time though?

EyeballsintheSky · 28/09/2008 23:22

LOL, I thought it had got sort of forgotten. No probs. We'll organise one soon

Ewe · 28/09/2008 23:29

Sounds good... I think my earlier post got lost in my Christening cake stuff but do you do any baby groups/lessons in Epsom that you would recommend? I'm trying to find something to do on my day off other than Mumsnet housework

lou33 · 28/09/2008 23:30

i am near guildford but all my kiddies are school age

Ewe · 28/09/2008 23:55

lou - does that mean you'll think our babies are really cute and want to hold them? While I have a hot coffee

EyeballsintheSky · 29/09/2008 00:10

I only really do a baby and toddler group at St Joseph's church on Monday mornings and a music group on Friday mornings. DD seems a bit young for anything else. I'm sure there are more but i'm very lazy I haven't had a chance to sniff them out yet.

lou33 · 29/09/2008 09:12

lol it depends if they screech when i touch them!

mummyron · 17/10/2008 22:10

Hi all,

It's been a little while since anyone posted here, but just in case

We have just moved to Cobham, and wondered if anyone wanted to meet up? Travel's not a problem, so can meet somewhere with a bit more going on.

I have 2 year old and 6 month old boys, and would be good to get recommendations on places to go. And would be nice if the boys could make some friends locally (me too!)

Thanks
