I'll probably be getting the train (as would Fio/Keane). It isn't far from the station to the pub.

Keane · 28/02/2005 09:55

when is the first of april

Dingle · 28/02/2005 17:08

I should be OK for the pub. I will have both ds and dd with me!! So my visit might be rather short and sweet, depending on their moods! Not quite sure if having ds around is actually a help or a hindrance! we shall wait and see!!

Keane · 01/03/2005 07:22

is it in the easter holidays then?

that will mean i will have both mine with me then, which will be a nightmare I take it they will help me with dd at the station? because its a nightmare on steps with her? Cadders do you know?

Cadbury · 01/03/2005 08:41

Don't panic Keane! I'm sure it'll b fine . The chaps at the station are usually very helpful aren't they. I'll have both of mine with me too.

If people would prefer to go to the coast and take a gamble on the weather, I don't mind.

PinkWebby · 01/03/2005 09:17

I would like to meet you all as well. I dont mind where we meet, I live in Herne Bay so Faversham isnt to bad.

Will keep watching to find out where you are all meeting but the 1st is fine by me.

Dingle · 01/03/2005 09:26

I am quite open about where we go. It would be nice to go to the coast, but the thought of a picnic on the beach seems a long way off as I sit here, it's still trying to snow.
I must say, I am rather nervous about taking my 2, but it will be the only real chance I have of a bigger meet up until dd is at school!!

My dd has got this awful habit ATM, taking her food out of her mouth and saying "YUK!" in a rather loud voice. That should go down really well with the other diners! Don't say I haven't warned you all!

SleepyJess · 01/03/2005 11:10

LOL.. it's ok.. don't panic guys.. I wasn't inviting myself.. I was just commenting to the effect of 'I am in Faversham.. small world.." etc..!

sleepyjess you are invited!

I dont mind where we go but i will have my pain dd with me

Keane · 01/03/2005 18:09

bumping this upo for sleepy jess

and to tell aero I will sing the noah song to her ds2 that should put you all off

PinkWebby · 02/03/2005 09:16

How about Snappys in Whitstable. It has a great big softplay, lovely comfortable leather chairs to sit on and they do tea and coffee and childrens lunches. Just an idea if we want to keep the children busy?

Cadbury · 02/03/2005 09:35

That sounds good Pink Webby. Do you happen to know if you can walk to it from the station? Fio and I (at least) don't drive so would need to be in walking disztance.

Keane · 02/03/2005 09:35

where is snappys?

is it becoming obvious, i walk round in a daze?

Keane · 02/03/2005 09:36

I think i will catch the bus cadburyt but i will meeet you at the station, it is a bit out of town though

Looks great but not sure how I can get there without a car, with 2 kids

Keane · 02/03/2005 09:48

I could get the tesco free bus, but that wont help cadbury unless she catches the train to here and then catches the free bus with me!LOL

Think it would be easier if it was somewhere near a train station

Fio you think you're in a daze, I can't even see for looking which date you guys are actually thinking of! Snappy's sounds great.. but please post me a idiot-proof posting re final details including date/time/place when you have hashed it all out between you.. and I will fit in if at all possible (and I hope I can )
