I'll be coming from Chiswick and probably won't leave until about 6:00ish.

29th good for me (did I mention that I'll be between jobs? Also, for the record, the after school nanny that I offered a job to has accepted. and this place in cornwall (recommended by jura) is great (would insert a smug emoticon but the weather is not playing ball). Page62 - are you still potentially up for a trip to the lambeth country fair on sunday? we get back to london on friday).

yes, i think we're still up for the lambeth fair although if it becomes quite stressful i.e. jack has a tendency to run off in these really busy places and get lost in the crowds -- do you promise we can de-camp and catch our breath at your place? i sound like an incompetent mum!

no prob (re decamping)- depending on what hour you can face getting up on sunday am we could always go for an hour and then have lunch at our place. will drop you an email.

i think the thread refers to
city rather than City though some of us do work in the City, if that makes any sense.

SixSpot I think the defining criteria is that we've all chatted across the childminders/nannies boards; we are all working mums who either live or work in city/City. dharma - of course you can! As you've probably gathered, some of the local boards are more active than others (not sure I've ever seen a meet up on the southwark one), so definitely worth checking the meet up section on the main board from time to time.

Thanks - you're right - there's no meet ups on Lambeth or Wandsworth either - just individuals really - although that works for me too!
From the sound of things, you guys are quite raucous though - will need to put my drinking boots on for sure!
