Just seem as though a lot of us are from london and surrounding area's, I live in portsmouth and just wondering if any other down here.

...I'm down the M27, between Winchester and Southampton, not too far way, but the only bit of Portsmouth I know is Gun Warf (surprise surprise)!!

I have seen someone from the New Forest posting before, as well as someone who was moving to Bournemouth.

Eve, you're not in Hedge End, are you? We lived there for a year when dd was born - nice area, but no good if you don't drive (which I didn't at that point)

grommit, I'm in St Albans, at the bottom of the M10, so very close to Hemel. I go to Snow and Rock a lot and shop at Tesco Hemel!

I'm enjoying being in winchester with my first baby. Shops aren't brilliant for finding things for little ones, but Southampton's only a little ride away. My first timers NCT group is great, and has been a fantastic lifeline. Where do you live?

lalaa, I live just up the A34 just outside of Whitchurch. We are about 20 mins away by car.

Have you oved to Winchester recently? The shops have always been a bit dodgy, but I guess its the market they cater to, lots of money and tourists!

But there is a Blooming Marvellous, which I have used numerous times. In Basingstoke wher I do most of my shopping, there are no baby shops, though with the new shopping centre it has improved.

lou33 - sorry for not responding sooner! Must have passed your house last week on my way to Chiddingfold. Had lunch at The Crown pub on the green. Our new puppy came from a breeder in Milford last year, too.

I'm near as dammit (can I say that?) in Churt.

We didn't get the tree from Frensham, but from our local walking spot, Ludshott Common. Got a 6 footer for £6. Not bad eh?
