Hi melliamly. I moved to Portslade last year, I live in Foredown Drive. Would love to chat. Most of my friends have children that have are around 10-16 now. Dont know any other mums around here. Was going to go to some drop-in club that my HV told me about but never got around to it.

You are very close to me Harrysmom. I live in Old Shoreham Road just past Portslade Infants (where my little boy goes)and just before the Southwick border.
I went to mum and baby group at The Rise in Mile Oak Road on a wednesday morning. Also they do drop ins on Tues and Thurs morning - my friend goes to one of them and says it is very good. I think they might also do a mum and baby group on a wednesday at the Village Centre.
I know it is very hard when you don't know any other mums, I didn't when I had my little boy and stayed in all the time! I made more of an effort with my little girl and so she has got some friends her own age.
Mel
