Any Mums near Ipswich?

I moved to Ipswich a few months ago and dont know so many people here yet! Would love to meet some other Mums.

I have 2 boys, a 2.6 year old and a 9 week old

I have tried to organise Ipswich meet-ups before but they're not very well attended!

I don't live in Ipswich but I do work there.
Are you in the town or outskirts?

I live near the town centre - about half an hour walk away.

Am at home with the new baby at the moment, but will be looking for a job in town in a few months time too.

What do you do?
Why did you move to Ipswich?

Its a shame that your meet ups havent been well attended... you'd have thought that with a site as big as this that there would be quite a few people near here!

We moved to Ipswich from London at the end of last summer. Partly for the kids (we were in a tiny place in London and not really enough room for them both!) and partly for my work.
I used to work in fashion merchandising, left when I had DS1. Then in 2006 I set up a fashion shop with a friend in Ipswich - you will maybe have seen it - its called All about me?
Anyway, its a loooooong story but I sold my share of it just before DS2 was born so now I have no job! Will have to start looking from scratch again in Ipswich towards the end of the year! There are no merchandising head offices around here, so maybe I'll go work for an insurance company seeing as thats pretty much all there is! LOL

What do you do? Do you commute far?

I drive about 20 mins to work, I live nearer to Stowmarket.
I'm a PA for a Finance Team, I love it!

I don't actually know Ipswich all that well, but I am learning, my colleagues are all in and around Ipswich so they're teaching me where to go!
