I was in Colle Val d'Elsa last week when my mother came over from Paris to visit me. Actually I'm french, I've been living in Italy for 6 years. My husband comes from the Chianti area.
It's a shame we don't live a bit closer otherwise your daughters and my baby could have met.

Vinci is 40 km from Florence, more or less half way between Florence and Pisa. It's the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci, that's why it's a bit famous among tourists...
