Hi ladies,

Thought it would be an idea to try and organise a meet up to introduce our little angels. Think Surrey or London is probably the best location wise. I'm in Epsom (Surrey) and don't drive but can get into London easily.

Please suggest dates/places etc that suit and put your name down if you're interested.

Me, please I am very near Epsom so will wait for someone else to say where.

CantSleepWontSleep · 15/04/2008 18:05

lol - I saw this and thought 'is she mad, March 08 has been and gone, so how can they meet up then?', but I guess you're actually a post-natal group from March 08!

Congratulations everyone, and I'll leave you to it now!

littleducks · 15/04/2008 19:53

Yes please! Bt not a saturday for me, am happy to travel if dh can have dd

derah · 15/04/2008 23:41

Count me in!

MissingMyHeels · 16/04/2008 09:20

CSWS - lol - I hadn't even thought that it could read like that... Not quite back up to 100% in the brains department.

Littleducks - where are you?

What day of the week is best for most people?

OP posts:
littleducks · 16/04/2008 21:08

miles away! but will travel into london happily

MarchNowFebMum · 17/04/2008 15:30

I am central and anything in Zone 1 works for me - how about something at London Bridge or Waterloo so we can pull in the southerners?

MissingMyHeels · 17/04/2008 20:21

Think Waterloo sounds like a good compromise MNFM - everyone else??

Now for dates, I'm free to come in pretty much whenever, suggest a weekday?

OP posts:
MarchNowFebMum · 18/04/2008 08:17

Thurs-Fri generally best for me

littleducks · 18/04/2008 17:44

wed/thurs best for me but can do others

MissingMyHeels · 19/04/2008 17:41

Would this Thurs 24th be too soon? Or would Thurs after (1st of May) be better? Think lunchtime/afternoon is probably best as I know it can certainly take me a while to get up about and out first thing.

Currently people who can make it are:

Turtle23 (btw, how is CricketsMum? Would she be up for coming?)
Derah
LittleDucks

Sorry folks, I'm up for a Surrey meet up that I can drive to but I ain't quite ready to train into London with a toddler and a newborn!!

So take me off the list for this one please....

Would the Surrey ladies be interested in a more local meet-up?

PurlyQueen · 20/04/2008 20:40

I guess I should be ready to brave the Tube with a newborn ... so count me in.

MamaFormerlyKnownAsGlam · 24/04/2008 19:49

I'll try and come to a London one. We'll need somewhere with a lot of space though....

JFly · 25/04/2008 11:28

Would prefer not to do central London on my own just yet, but would be willing to go south/south-west once I can drive. Should be given the all clear next week at 6 week check. So, I vote for week comencing May 5th....

MarchNowFebMum · 25/04/2008 23:43

next thurs good for me (May 1), afternoon after 2 is best....although that is voting day for London!

MissingMyHeels · 28/04/2008 11:49

I'm happy to do something local and in London - JFly, maybe you could come to the Surrey one? You're Wimbledon way if I recall and if we met up in say Epsom you could drive over as it's only 15-20mins.

So, who can attend in London?

and, who can attend in Surrey?

Then we can sort some dates out.

MarchNowFebMum · 28/04/2008 21:06

me London
any afternoon except tuesdays

MamaFormerlyKnownAsGlam · 29/04/2008 10:36

I can do London. Wed or Thurs afternoon is best for me.

How about next Wednesday (is it the 7th?)?

littleducks · 29/04/2008 18:33

i need good public transport links, so probably london is better for me but it depends where you pick in surrey.

we are now all too indecisive with baby brains someone take over and boss us all into shape

littleducks · 04/05/2008 09:51

bumpity bump

are we all getting cold feet?

MissingMyHeels · 06/05/2008 18:48

Right, have been away and uber busy so kinda forgot about this! How about Thurs 15th May in the afternoon in Waterloo area?

Anyone in Surrey if you want to travel in together or park at my house (am 2mins from Epsom station with parking & permits!) then feel free to just let me know.

How is the above date for everyone? From the above list I am expecting responses from...

turtle23
littleducks
Glam
MarchMum
PurlyQueen

JFly (are you Wimbledon or Earlsfield? I could always meet you at the station if you did want to come? It's on my way if you would be up for it with company)

I'll try to make it but we have immunisations that morning so I'll have to see how it goes!

Hi there. I'm in SOuthfields so kind of in between those stations. My main problem is negotiating the stairs with my pram, so if I can get around that somehow, then would love to come.

MMH, thanks for the offer! I will have a think about my route and let you know. Would be great to have a travel buddy.
