Lonely - In Merton Abbey

Hiya,

I am 26 years old have a 14 month old son, and am 9 weeks pregnant, I dont work and would love to meet up with other young mums in the area, I dont drive so local would be fab,I live near Merton Abbey, anyone interested??

where is Merton Abbey? if i dont know im guessing its not near here

drury - have you tried going to one of the ymca singing things in the morning - thats quite good for meeting people - though at first it can seem like its full of nannies and whisper Wimbledon mums...

theres also a good toddler and parent group at the south wimbledon community centre on haydons rd if thats any help...

oh and and under ones baby group on mondays at the church hall (st andrews?) by merton abbey school...

Hi Drury, I'm in Merton Abbey too! I can point you in the direction of some lovely play groups I go to. I have a 2 and a half year old DS, I'm 28 and a Childminder here in Merton Abbey. Congratulations on the pregnancy BTW

The childminder groups are extremely cliquey round here (I tend to avoid!)but the mother and toddler ones are just lovely
