Hi,I have a 20 month old boy who hasn't had the chance to socialize much with other toddlers as we recently move to Nottingham and also I have no idea about mum and me classes like that . I'd love to find someone to meet up with for playdates for toddlers.

Also I have a very basic English can't speak well as I am not a native speaker but want to learn about toddlers activities from other parents and hope my DS can make a friend here.

Are you on facebook at all? There are several useful groups you can join to look at what's on, loads of things locally

Look up arnbrook children's centre for some free things to start

The toddler years are great for meeting people. Looking on Facebook is a great idea.

Also, look out for posters in the supermarket for playgroups. They are usually once a week and you go and stay there with your child. There are toys and sometimes singing at the end.

And look in the library.

The library website says there is a singing activity on every Tuesday and Thursday from 10.30 until 11.00. It stops for the school holidays so that's in two weeks.
