Glasgow Meet-up

Not had any response from the Glasgow Mums thread - so I thought that I'd start a new one.

How about a meet up in Glasgow on Saturday 22 January? DH is going to be away on his wine course - so I know we won't be away skiing then, and I'll be looking for things to do.

It shouldn't be TOO crowded with the Post Christmas sales by then - but if you fancied a look around, then we could meet up in Princes Square and let the kids run around the mosaic - and then go off and hit the Sales .

....and I thought no-one was interested! I tend to not to sign in the evenings, as dh hogs the PC, but he's away at the moment, and I spent the day down in London (once they had cleared the snow from the runway at Glasgow Airport) so I thought I'd have a quick look at Mumsnet.

As I'd got no interest (perhaps not surprising in the run up to Christmas) I had thought no-one was interested

I've now made other arrangements for this Saturday. And then we're going away skiing the next week, so 12 February is the ealriest I'm going to be free.

Anyone interested in a Saturday meet-up in Glagow sometime in February?

don't forget me. when is it

tabitha · 21/01/2005 13:36

I'm actually from near Falkirk, aimsmum.
At the moment I'm working full-time but from 14th February I will be part-time and will have every Wednesday and every second Friday off - and it can't come soon enough!
Only problems are, work still haven't formally agreed to the part-time working (although I've been told verbally that it's okay) and they've already put me on a 3 day training course including the Wednesday the week after I'm supposed to start.
So, weekends or (most) Wednesdays are best for me.

Prettybird · 21/01/2005 13:38

The earleist I could make it would by 12 Feb - I can only do weekedns as i work full time.

Does anyone have any prefercne for a Saturday or a Sunday? The weekend of the 12th or the weekend of the 19th?

As of Monday I work parttime! Well kind of. I have a Wednesday off. Weekends suit me fine.... Sundays are best though coz I can get a lift from DH.

gscrym · 21/01/2005 22:18

Toothache, there's some of us going to meet up at the McRobert in Stirling next Wed at 2.15. Feel free to pop along

By the way, I'm in Stenhousemuir. You're all welcome next week if you can manage.
