HI
Wondered if anyone would like to go to the parent screenings on Tuesdays. I used to go with my dd 3 years ago and now I am up for going with my 16 week old

Surely I am not the only one?

I intended to go with my baby but have now returned to work. They seemed to have lots of good films on in weeks I just couldn't make it, and then I never got it together. I was all set to go one morning and then somehow couldn't get out of the house until 15 minutes before the start of the film, a bit ambitious from the other side of Stamford Hill on the 67 bus with a buggy. Have you tried posting on the "Hackney Local" site?

Hi
Shame you missed the films - I went the other day and saw the Orphange - v scary. Good idea about posting on the local site. Are you in Totenham or Stamford Hill? I am in Stokey

Tottenham, quite near the 67 bus route so the Rio would have been easier for us than Muswell Hill or East Finchley which are the other places I know of with baby showings

I LOVE the Rio parent and babies screenings! I've been going since my little boy (now 13 months and still sneaking him in) and it's my favourite Mum & Baby activity. I received the new programme this morning and was so excited to see they're showing Juno on May 20th at 1pm. Also Happy-Go-Lucky (new Mike Leigh film) and Persepolis. I'll probably be going to see Happy-Go-Lucky on April 22nd at 12.30pm so if you spot a bright blue Stokke Explory in the aisle that's me...

Hi DCMY
Juno is fab - you will really like it. Love to see the Mike Leigh film, so will try and make 22 April - I will be pushing a maclaren

I know - a friend babysat for me so I could go see it at a 'grown up' screening and I loved it so much, especially the soundtrack by Kimya Dawson who is incidentally playing in Camden next month as part of Ladyfest London...
