I don't suppose there's anyone fancies a cup of coffee with kids in tow somewhere in the Whitgift Centre this afternoon?! My ds is 18 mths and it would be lovely to have a sit down with some adult conversation if only for half an hour today!!

I can't manage this afternoon but I'll be at the Playbarn at the Gypsy Moth all morning.

Ooo... from what time, I'll try and make it along as I haven't been there yet.

Is it suitable for a small toddler? How much is it?

Thanks SoupDragon - was great to put a face to the name! ds is usually much more cheerful than that, honest. (and no, he didn't manage much lunch, unsuprisingly).

I'm pleased to say that, depite 2 plates of biscuits, some cake and some Cheddars, DS2 managed a Happy Meal from McDs as well. As you could probably tell from his fine physique, eating is not a problem!

Wow soupdragon that is impressive! Of course, I didn't have macd's to tempt ds with, but I did offer beans and pork sausages (one of his favourite meals). To be fair, he did try hard and only admitted defeat after he got through half of it. His desert of banana though (also a favourite) got completely ignored.

Sorry sb34 only just saw your message! We must meet up another time!

I'm not sorry no Weekends are a bit of a problem at the moment as dh is only home then - so it's mass decorating time. Hope to be a bit more sociable in the new year when things have calmed down.

It would be nice to hear from other mums who have children the same age my daughter is 12 and my son is 6. I work part time as an admin manager and i work with men so making new friends with women is not possible.

It would be great to hear from any one who lives in the croydon area married/single with children roughly the same age.
