We bought a new tent today. We're gonna get back into camping, we haven't been since ds was born

Ooooh cool. I like camping. I went a couple of times with my ex.

We should have a big camping meet up in the summer in Whitby or somwhere. That'd be fab The men could do all the hard work whilst we sat around drinking wine

We are off to Holland tomorrow night - not camping in this weather but in a rather nice looking Eurocamp mobile home We are going here

Do you know of any nice camp sites around Scarborough? We're thinking of Haven - Blue Dolphin but think there must be something better (not that there's anything wrong with Haven)

We have stayed at a great place just outside Robin Hood's Bay called Middlewood Farm.

I remember reading about a fab campsite in Scarborough that is a bit of a well kept secret, will try and find it!

Oooh Fatzak - where you are going looks lovely. I've been to Amsterdam a couple of times. I'm sure it was great, but I don't remember much except the colours in the paintings in the Van Gogh Museum, wow maaaaaaaaaaaaaan!

We can barely pull off day time meets with people working and lo's at nursery so i don't think we'd make a camping meet

Well I am officially allowed on the Huddersfield thread We arrived last Thurs and are settled and sorted thanks to many information texts from MrsC whilst my broadband has been unavailable. I can only get on sporadically because I am using my neighbours broadband but she turns it off when she's not using it.

Let me know when the next meet up is and I will endeavour to be there!!

aaarrrgggghhh! someone help me please! I need a susension coil repaired on my car today or tomorrow or first thing thursday. the car is covered by NAC insurance, so any VAT reg garage can do it. I dont have the cash to pay up front - the garage would need to deal direct with NAC. I have rung 16 places this morning, but they just are so rude - I hate dealing with garages as they just are so rude to women!!!
Jon is at work and can't ring anyone from there.
Does anyone know a garage that could help? Pllllleeeeeeaaaaasssssseeeeeeeeee.
Right I am going to walk the dog to calm down.

Well it's a miracle. We are half an hour ahead of estimated departure for holidays and we are ready Just waiting for DH to put last bits in the car so I can brush kitchen floor, then we are off!!

This is the family who when we went to France were due to set off at 9.00am - finally left home at 3.30pm

We have always used Grange Moor garage which is probably a bit far from you (don't mention me tho' as DH having a bit of a work spat with him!!!!)

Jon spoke to one of them and booked it in for tomorrow to be looked it - I had rung that garage and they told me they couldn't do it
