Hello

Just moved to Chepstow from the Forest and friends & current baby group in Cinderford, so miles away.

My daughter is 7 months and I'd really like to find out what baby activity groups there are in the Chepstow area and make some new contacts for coffee & chats.

Anyone out there?!

Hi,
I moved to Tutshill (just up the road from Chepstow) in October. I've got a 21 month old and a two week old (both girls).

I'm not sure about groups in Chepstow itself, but there is a good baby and toddler group in Tutshill on a Tuesday morning. There's also a gym tots in Coleford on a Monday morning. Chepstow pool is grim, but Lydney pool has baby/toddler swim sessions on Mondays and Thursdays I think. Chepstow library do storytime on Fridays.

The following website has info on some other groups in Chepstow, none of which I know anything about, but might be of interest to you:

I've got my hands full with a toddler and a newborn at the moment, but would be happy to meet up for a coffee one day when things are a bit calmer! Hope you are enjoying living in Chepstow.

Xanthe P - Have been meaning to thank you for your reply and just kept forgetting. Hope you happen to see this and that all is going well with your two. (How on earth did you find time to post with a two week old!!??)

Think I might try the Lydney swimming on Thursdays - still going to Cinderford on Tuesdays.

Where did you move from back in October - somewhere near or far?

Hi Bluebell, (I've had a name change - was XantheP)

Sorry I only just found your message! Things are going fine thanks. My youngest is now 7.5 months and it's definitely hectic with two of them! Plus my toddler has just dropped her lunchtime nap, so finding time to do anything is hard!!

I hope you've settled in well. How's it all going? I went swimming at Lydney with my two this morning actually - with my husband's help.

We moved from Bristol. We loved it there, but wanted a bit more space for our growing family! It's worked out well cos we can still pop back to Bristol a few times a week, but get a bit of countryside on our doorstep too.

Have you found any other good groups? I'm having another look at the moment, which is actually how I found your post. Now that my toddler has dropped a sleep, it means we've got more time to do stuff, plus my youngest is now at the age where she'd appreciate the stimulation. I'm thinking of joining the music class in Chepstow on a weds afternoon with her.
xx
