Hi Hollybobs, I'm near town too (near town end roundabout) and due to have my baby in 13 weeks - I am looking to meet up with local mums as I'll have 6 months off work (hooray) from April and we only moved back to Barnsley last year, so not really had chance to meet anyone in the area.....the mums on the barnsley thread seem really nice and am thinking of meeting up with them once the baby is here (would feel wierd going to leapfrogs etc without a baby!)....did you have your little girl at barnsley district ? what were they like? I've not even started antenatal classes yet !!

Hi. im 26yrs old and Im from worsbrough area and am expecting my first baby in march(15th)I have just discovered this site which looks really good.Im origionally from sussex-where all my family live, so would love to find a group of people to share experiences with. anyone fancy being my friend??? hehe

Hi Gemma. Ooooh not long now til your lo arrives! I'm 26 too and live in Worsbrough (how weird!) had my first baby in December so she's 10 weeks old now. Do you know what you're having??

Yimmy - sorry for replying so late (only just found this thread again!) Yep, I had my dd at Barnsley hospital & all the staff were really nice - very supportive. I didn't start the antenatal classes until 34 weeks so don't worry! Hope it all goes well for you. Let us know if you want to meet up (same for you Gemma)
