I'll have to miss out on the 23rd, going to the wedding show at Olympia. We were meant to go to the farm this morning but cold and foggy so we (me, two other childminders and 9 kids!) went for lunch at Abbey Mills cafe, the look on the faces of the people who work there was classic!

Have fun. I will be traipsing over to Stanmore to take children to birthday party, plus having lunch with IL's then staying overnight at iIL's so we can have lunch with the whole family (minus dh) then drive children home whilst dh goes to a coporate do at the carling cup final. DH is is taking me out on Saturday night for dinner though (and so he should considering the 23rd is my birthday)

11.30 is fine for me (leave Kew about 11am), can have lunch there if necessary DS can sleep in the car on teh way home but he's part way to giving up a nap I think.

Any other views?

Hi we cannot join you all for this on Sat as we have been invited to DD's best friend's house for lunch. DD has been grieving since her BF left the school in the New Year so I cannot let her down. She is so excited she tells everyone she meets "I am going to BF's house!!"

how long are you going to be there for? think we go to Gymboree first then have something to eat so 2ish? is it too late? or we could go straight after Gymboree and have lunch there. is there a cafe there?

Yes there is a cafe there. I would think 2ish would be pushing it - though I suspect we would still be there, I'm not sure how long for it really depends on the weather I would guess.

I can only get two car sets in my car so you and SFX can fight it out to the death. Is Ros or PAddle coming sure one of them could oblige.

Back in London now after fab trip, decided to head back yesterday to avoid any potential crazy Fri traffic.

About tom, not sure about timing as DS & DH going to dad's club in the morning. We were going to have lunch at home together but could do a Sushi and eat at cafe straight from club. Our attendance will prob be weather and mood dependent (DS might be quite tired after dad's play...) Will text one of you if we can make it

local seems to have gone awol....

can't make tomorrow now I'm afraid, dd still at Grandma's house overnight so won't be re-united till lunchtime tomorrow in High Wycombe!

Anyone around Sunday? Am toying with the idea of a trip to the Science Museum.

dh is not very well and will probably need time alone, nothing serious I don't think but painful back

dd is 'helping' me meal planning, so far the suggestions are pasta pasta pompadoms pasta pasta
she is trying to get me off the computer so she can play the ITNG puzzle on CBeebies

hi sfx, not too bad thanks. whilst i miss dd it's been good to be able to focus more on work.

had a nice evening out with friends last night too.

still woke up at 5:45am this morning tho

i've started a new thread under Local which seems to be sticking around.

hope dh's back improves and your dd's choice of meals seems perfectly reasonable to me! can she include some mango chutney with the poppadoms tho? it would at least provide one fruit serving!
