If you want a lift then no problem because I will be driving and can collect you (Reigate is only 10/12mins away by car). It was very nice to meet you and hope to see you again soon.

Let me know if you want a lift much nearer the time. Hope Alex gets better soon, there is a horrid cold bug going around at the moment, Lucy hasn't eaten properly for days but seems much better today.

dancer77 · 01/02/2005 00:27

Hi everyone have just got back from Rome which is why I haven't been around! It was very nice. Thanks dawnie I would have loved to have come to the reigate meeting but I'm out that night already which is a shame. Definately will go to next one though. I thought Sutton arena was good too albosmum. Am up for taking them there when do you fancy? Sorry to hear about Alex and hope Lucys ok dawnie. Harry wouldn't eat much while he was in Rome but I think that's to do with the fact he hated being in his pushchair all day for 5 days!

So lets choose a day to take the babies to Sutton arena.

dawnie1 · 01/02/2005 18:55

How was Rome with a toddler? We are going there in May for a week and I can't wait but not sure if Lucy will settle in a travelcot etc? Are Italians good with babies in restaurants? Are they friendly? I hope you had a lovely time.
Hope to see you and Harry again soon.

x

dancer77 · 01/02/2005 20:29

Rome was absolutely fantastic. The flight (BA)was great they could not do enough for you with a little one. And Italy was even better. They love children out there every one made a fuss of him everywhere we went - restaurants. All the sights etc. again everyone couldn't do enough for you. We queue jumped everything because we had Harry which was good! Some places with steps and no lifts are a bit difficult and it was hard work but I definately wouldn't have gone without him. He did get a bit restless and I think the 5 days was enough for him stuck in the pushchair but he was very good. He loved it when we got back to the hotel because he could practice his walking! Where abouts are you staying? We stayed near the Vatican and st Peters.

Blossomhill · 01/02/2005 20:42

Hiya just wanted to say that you will have a great time at Sutton Arena as I live about 5 minutes away. Have had the last few parties for my 2 there as well.
I am now childless in the day so not around for meeting up but just wanted to say hello to fellow Sutton Mnr's

albosmum · 02/02/2005 22:08

I forgot ypu were going to rome - glad you had a good time - when we meet up next bring your photos/ Did you find it relaxing ?

OP posts:
dancer77 · 03/02/2005 00:13

It wasn't so much relaxing because it was quite hard work with Harry, but it was different to being over here it was just nice to get away from everyday life and that makes you feel relaxed anyway.

albosmum · 07/02/2005 21:26

glad to hear you had a good time I am very jealous - am going to lincoln to visit a friend at half term - so not quite as exotic if you want to meet up after half term suggest a date and place

OP posts:
dancer77 · 07/02/2005 23:55
