OK then, now we're all back online (thank goodness for that, I was beginning to think I'd have to start talking to my family!!!!)
Who's up for the Cambridge meet-up - so far, it's me, Azzie and Lindy for lunch one day in December, but we'd love some more Mumsnetters to join in.

Hi bee, I'd love to join you and I know this sounds daft (since this is mumsnet after all), but are people bringing their kids? I've got a 2 1/2 year old and a 7 month old, and wouldn't want to cramp anyone's style if you were planning a more sophisticated get-together!

cazzybabs · 28/10/2002 20:32

I live in cambridge and may be up for coming if I am invited?

Alibubbles · 28/10/2002 20:53

I'll do my best to come too!

mines · 29/10/2002 09:23

Yes please - just tell me the time and the place.

bee · 29/10/2002 15:55

OK, how about Tuesday 10th December? We can either do 'posh' at the Riverside at the University Centre or alternatively go to Pizza Express near Robert Sayles. Up to you.

I'd suggest we go without kids at this stage, then we can always meet up again some later time somewhere noisier and with plastic furniture!

I'll book a table wherever we choose.

Can't make the 10th (toddler group party!) but I'm afraid I shall have to wait for the child-friendly version! Much as I'd prefer adults only, as I have at least a 2 hour drive each way it would be very difficult to get DS looked after for a whole day - shame! Count me in for the next time please.

mines · 30/10/2002 13:41

I'm OK for Tuesday 10th and kid free, although a friend of mine gives Pizza Express top marks for baby friendliness, if we did want to extend it.

Azzie · 30/10/2002 13:53

Tuesday 10th at lunchtime is fine for me -I'll 'work from home' that day . I'll be child-free but don't mind if others are or aren't.

bee · 30/10/2002 15:51

OK then let's go for 10th December at Pizza Express - the one near Robert Sayles. I'll book a table (and Lindy, do come if you can). If anyone wants to bring kids, then they should feel welcome!

Would people prefer to set this up using emails so we don't clog up the mumsnet talkboard? If so, email me at [email protected] with your email and mumsnet name, and I'll keep a list going.

The more the merrier!

How many of us are coming? - I've got Azzie, Mines and me so far. Babster and Cazzybabs, now about you? And there were some others on the 'Where do you live' link - date any good for you?
I'm looking forward to it loads!

I am working as a teacher and I don't break up until the 11th of Dec at 3.30, but I also don't work Tues afternoons, so could do the 10th for lunch, so long as it is after 1pm.

(Am about to take Isabelle swimming at Parkside for the first time!!!)

glitterbabe · 03/11/2002 11:09

Hi Bee, I would love to come along but I am unable to meet up as I have booked the day off work on the 10th to go Christmas shopping in Milton Keynes with my dh. Have a wonderful time. Love glitterbabe xx
