Oh poo I have lectures. KWT has it been advertised to the NCT Bumps and Babies? (Wasn't there last week so don't know) but am going on Tuesday.

knifewieldingtoddler · 19/10/2007 12:30

no it hasn't. it has no direct connection with the NCT but you are free to mention/direct people to the slingmeet website to come along

knifewieldingtoddler · 19/10/2007 12:35

i am bringing along some of my MTs and wraps so you can try out mine. someone is also bringing along the 'sling library' so you can try pouches and RS too.

Will mention it to people, there are a whole load of tiny new babies with mummies to convert.

Or claim that ds is ill so I couldn't make it and will the lecturer pretty please put the notes online........

Actually I finish at 2.15 I think so will pop in after but sans ds to try slings on with.

knifewieldingtoddler · 22/10/2007 15:35

burrump.

oh, goody. It will be nice just to touch the fabrics and see the colours IRL than just dreaming of them off a computer screen.

knifewieldingtoddler · 22/10/2007 15:36

dreaming? I mean drooling. (in my case anyway)

also, i think you can borrow one from the sling library if you really want to try one out.

the meetup was a big success. did you get there, indith, peckarollover?

Indith · 25/10/2007 21:28

I did indeed, got a shiny sling from the library to try out too.

Was the unpregnant one without a child. Dragged a slightly nervous, slightly pregnant friend too who I feel may get a bit sling addicted

knifewieldingtoddler · 25/10/2007 21:45

there were so many people there that i didn't make out who was the one without a baby.

i was the dark(ish) American Indian looking woman with glasses and the toddler dd weaing orange and olive stipey rugbystyle top.

I left shortly before 4 pm. did you get there early or late as when i was leaving 3 people walked in!

knifewieldingtoddler · 25/10/2007 21:46

ps. the world needs more sling addicts (to keep us company)

Got there pretty much at the start. White, long dark hair in a plait, burgandy sweater.

knifewieldingtoddler · 25/10/2007 22:33

aha, got you now. I was the one who took the photos. You are in one of them. It may make the blog which a couple of the mums look after.
