Ooooohhhh didn't see this and started a new thread - am around Monday to Wednesday - can meet up Thursdays and Fridays or you are all welcome to come to mine if you can get there! (Kelvedon!)

michaelad · 24/09/2007 16:21

yay,someone finally took notice again!!

Twinkie, how are you? What's the other thread you started, can you give me a link?
Fridays would be good! Have you heard from any of the others?

OP posts:
Twinkie1 · 24/09/2007 16:27

Ooooohhhh can't do links but no bugger has responded anyway!

Fridays are good for me - you can pop over this Friday of you want or next Friday??

Anyone else welcome - we can always go out though if you want - I could come in to Chelmsford - just a pain if the weather is shitty though!

Oh you will have to excuse state of house too - perfectly safe just old and not been decorated since we moved in!!

Tx

michaelad · 24/09/2007 17:07

Next friday, probably. Will have to check with dh because he'd have to pick ds1 up from school. Don't worry about the house..it's you I'm interested in..not the wallpaper

Will let you know what hubby says!

OP posts:
Twinkie1 · 25/09/2007 10:01

OK - how old your DCs?

Just that we may have no carpet in lounge as DH decorating next week?

michaelad · 25/09/2007 11:30

4 1/2 and 27 months. ds1 will be in school and ds2 in nursery though. At least that way I have half a chance to talk to you. Quite happen to bring kids to subsequent meetups..the first one (for me at least) I'd prefer them to not be there

Twinkie, have spoken to my husband and had a tentative ok from him about school run. He has a deadline looming at work but should be able to definitely tell me by Monday, Tuesday next week. Is that ok or too short notice for you?

found you! So sorry have been awol, new house taking rather a lot of time to sort out. How the devil are you? The other thread slipped off my "threads I'm on".

Hope all ok - any plans for next meetup?

michaelad · 28/09/2007 20:21

Hey Podglet!!!

am fine apart from having broken some toes in my right foot by having a rather intense encounter with the arch in our kitchen (ouch!!!).
How did the move go?? Oh, and I believe congratulations are in order??!!

There might be something happening at Twinkie's house next friday.(see further down the thread). Would you be up for that? Am still awaiting confirmation from hubby whether he'll be able to do the school run for me that day.

Hi,

This friday not good I'm afraid - will def be up for the next one though.

ouch - poor toes! I broke a toe tripping over DS's high chair a couple of months ago, really hurts!

michaelad · 01/10/2007 10:14

Twinkie, I'm afraid I will have to cancel this friday because of my broken toes. I was hoping it would be better by now but walking is still agony (especially when trying to squeeze into shoes). I have never broken anything in my life before so I wasn't aware just how long it can take
Next friday's bad for me too since I've got a physio appointment to go to..God, I am a wreck

And after that it gets even busier..

How about moving the whole thing to next month?

Which dates would be good for people next month?

OP posts:
michaelad · 01/10/2007 10:16

Yep, podglet.. I walked into the wall and nearly fainted! And it still gives me so much grief... how long did it take for your toes to get better?

Oh, and are you really pregnant again then?

OP posts:
podglet · 01/10/2007 10:59

Certainly am! Only 9 weeks though so very early days..

I go back to work full time on 5th November (only going back so I can claim mat pay for this one!) so meetups for me will have to stop for a while. However, let me know if anything is planned for Oct.
