Older mums in Edinburgh

Are there any older mums (30s-40s) in Edinburgh who have maybe given up their career or work part-time? A lot of the women I meet at playgroups are in their early 20's and I'd love to meet someone in my age bracket! Would be particularly great to meet other creative/professional/academic types with a toddler! Do get in touch - I'd like to organise a meet-up.

Hi just read this and I definitely qualify (coming up for my 39th birthday!). My dd is almost 7 months and I am still on mat leave until Jan.

Hi Rubyone, would love to try to meet up after our last fiascos. We could count our grey hairs - mine definitely outnumber my age now that I am safely in this age bracket

Hi there older mums! So glad someone replied to this posting - was wondering if anyone would.

Applepie - I can't now remember, were you the one with the 5 month old baby at the last meeting and an older son and we were going to meet up for a coffee but things intervened? You can tell I'm suffering from MOTS (mother of toddler syndrome)!!

Good to hear from you too PattyToo - let's meet up definitely. Maybe we should wait another week to see if any other people see this message? Any ideas where we could meet?
