Any mums in or near Spalding??

Hi Just moved to Surfleet near Spalding, and need to find new friends in the area. I have a 6 year old dd, and 2 year old ds,and 7 months old ds.
Is there anyone in the area?

Hiya, there are a few Lincolnshire mums about, not sure I know of anyone in Spalding though. I live in Boston with dh and 3yo dd. I work in Spalding. Surfleet is lovely, are you settling in OK?

Settling in okay. Dd loves local school and had her 1st school swimming lessons in Spalding this week. We're doing a lot of work on our house so thats keeping me busy but I am starting to feel a bit isolated, coming from a large town its been a bit of a culture shock for me. Although I do like it here, its taking some getting used to.
I do quite a bit of shopping in Boston and dh was offered a job there.

I know exactly what you mean re the culture shock, I was exactly the same when I first moved here from Sheffield in 1999. I think you get used to the change of pace, but not having such good public transport is a complete pita.

I can't really help with toddler groups etc in Spalding, but there are some good ones in Boston if you are willing/able to travel up the A16 a bit

Pool is very nice isn't it and Ayscoughfee Gardens is a nice place to potter.

Also good soft play out by Baytree but I'm sure you've found that already.
