hi there

I live in London at the moment but I've noticed a couple of posts from mums living in Australia. We are moving back there next year and I don't have any friends with children in Melbourne and would love to hear from any out there or alternatively, find out about any sites like this one for Australia. I havn't been able to find one ...
:-)

MissT we moved back from the UK ( me - aussie, dh - english) earlier this year but we settled in Queensland. I have a 2 to dd and another babe due in about 4 weeks. I haven't really looked for any aussie sites - just keep posting here.

I know there are others of us out here but I think they are in Perth and Sydney - not sure of any in Melbourne.

Hope all goes well for the move.

I'm in Sydney so won't be much help, but I can tell you that the local website for mums is: www.essentialbaby.com.au It isn't too bad but the message board traffic is not enough to make it as exciting as here. There is an area where you can arrange meetups in your area though. Goodluck.

Hi MissTuesday,

My name is Tania iam from Melbourne there is a website like this one in Australia but i dont use it as i find this one alot better. The site is called mumsweb.com.au and has only just been running for around 6 months. How many children do you have? and what age? Where about in Melbourne will you be relocating to?

Good luck and if i can help at all let me know.

Hi I am in Brisbane, i returned from UK 6 months ago. I also use essentialbaby.com, design layout make it harder to use, but Aussiesim is right in that each state is separated, and you can meet up with mums from melbourne. Good luck in your move next year.
