would be nice for DD to meet more friends as we dont really have many little ones in the family or around???and do me good to get out!!!

middlesbrough. am in process of learning to drive(test oct!) which will give me a lot more freedom and dp a lot less of the car!

I have to DSs aged 6 and 4 so a bit bigger than yours. My dh is from the Boro though and his parents still live there (Acklam)

hi northener, not many people around this area, you all move away!!lol. trying to find groups or meet up local, so dd can be around more her age. she has 3 cousins, 1 3months younger who scares the living daylights out of her(and me) and another two who live in acklam who we dont see from one month to the next. we go to a playgroup on mondays but we both need to get out and about more, so next time you're visiting family, we'll meet up for a lemon top on the front!!!!

I'm from teesside near to middlesbrough & have an 18 month old son but am a single parent at 22. I go to a couple of playgroups round my area but would love to chat to other mum's my age & in the area

were are you?do you go to many mum and toddler groups? my dd is also 18 months (april 18th 03) what about your ds?
i go to a toddlers group on mondays- singing actions to nursery rhymes etc and a really goo playgroup friday mornings, with allsorts for them to do from soft play to play doe! and am about to start swim tots on a wed (if i can find a bather to cover all!!!{smile]

Hi Eves mama!

My son is 3 days younger 21st April 03. I go to a playgroup on a thursday morning 10-12 in Yarm. It is great the place is so big & he can run everywhere. Jack loves running never walks.
What about your little girl. Do u live round about that area? It would be good to chat

dont know if your still around as i saw you posted earlier today?
actually live of ormesby road in middlesbrough with dp who ive been with for 9 years and dd(Eve)
am just about to start going to swim tots with Eve on a wednesday at the neptune centre(do you drive? as there are spaces available-you normally have to wait for ages!)
she had to miss fridays playgroup this week as i had driving test and dp said he would be on egg shells seeing other kids running into her etc! and both mon and fri are not on this week due to kids being off, so she'll be a bit bored. will probably take her to rainbow centre or eston sports academy(they have great advenure/softplay areas for little ones of ours age)

I know where north orsemby road is! well that's if I can spell it lol... My playgroups r off this week as well & on a wednesday night I go to college am studying health. So what u do? I do drive which is great. You will have the freedom to go off to good places with little one. Did u pass?? look forward to hearing from u
