Service charge of 12.5%: £3.1875
Vat of 17.5%: £4.4625
Total price for the food: £33.15

I assume drinks are then a cash bar and no one will be responsible for an out of control bar bill.

becuase if we pay it all into a pay pal account and some people drop out - then others will be able to take their place and pay the dropped out person.

Sorry to be a pain but I think all these things need to be answered before people will be willing to hand over £35 or so just for the food.

Is £33 really that extortionate for a christmas do? I remember it always being about that for my old works do, I am calling this my BumFluff Christmas party

We are not going to get anything for much less than £35 a head, it is LONDON fgs, at CHRISTMAS. And the lengthy notice we have means that anyone who wants to come can save a fiver a week between now and then and have £80 to spend on the night.
I would prefer pizza express or even the pizza place from 2005, and particularly I would prefer if we had it in my local on a Tuesday, but hey, we can't suit everyone and I'm going to try to come(obviously can't say for definite as the date is soooo far away) no matter where it is because I want to meet up with all the lovely mners. There is no way we are going to please everyone.
