Hi, I've got a 3 year-old DS and would like to meet more mums with similar-age kids (especially parents of boys, because all my friends seem to have girls!).

Hi Arabica,

Sorry, I only fit one criteria there I'm afraid in that I live in Stoke Newington. Have DS who's 3 days old so we're not venutring out much yet but hopefully we'll meet at some mumsnet meet in the future.

Have you just moved here?

Hi Arabica, I live in Clapton, which is not far away, and I have a 3 year-old DS (and a 5 year-old and a five week old baby).

Perhaps we could arrange a meet-up in Stoke Newington? Is there still a One O'Clock Club in Clissold Park?

BTW - Congrats Pennies - I've managed to miss your birth announcement! Must go and look for it now!

Hi Dinosaur and Pennies, I have lived in Stokey for ages but a couple of close friends have moved away recently, or had 2nd babies and aren't able to meet up as often. And yes there is a 1 o'clock club which we sometimes go to. It's got OK facilities but for some reason I've found it hard to meet other mums there. Dinosaur, how come you gave yourself that nickname (just wondering if you are an older mumI'm nearly 43too?)
