London Meet-ups/Picnics? Shall I arrange one for newcomers?

I'm a newcomer but would love to meet up with other mumsnetters. Sounds good fun. ( I'm sure my ds would also like to meet other little d's!)Is there a picnic this weekend coming up? Think there is - tried to follow links but ds is howling in the background so slightly distracted - might be able to come with dh, ds, and bump if that's ok? Haven't told dh yet. There will be other dh's I imagine? That's what I'll tell him anyway.
If I can't make it - would anyone else fancy having another picnic at another time either one weekday afternoon or weekend in London? Especially calling all other newcomers who like me are a bit new to this?! I could 'organise' it if you trust me (?!) Let me know. Off to rescue ds from cot.

Try and come along to Coram's Field memum, newcomers are always welcome

There tend to be a good few London meet-ups, depending on what area you are in - whereabouts are you? DS2 starts full time in reception in a couple of weeks, so me and DD have the whole day to ourselves now, no more rushing to do the 11.30 pickup, but also no one but me to play with DD in the afternoons!

Will definately try to come! Look forward to meeting you all. Thanks for message - I've awaited with anticipation!!!!

Hi memum, I'm a relative newcomer too, also based in London, hoping to go along on Saturday though nervous as it'll be my first mumsnetter meet-up! I'm based in SE London by the way, not far from Tower Bridge / Bermondsey. Where are are you?

Hi, I'm in SE London too, near Bromley, and would love to meet up sometime. I have a DS who's 2.

sweetkitty, Greenwich is 5 mins for me on the bus. How old is your dd / ds? My dd is 23 months.
