Any AP parents interested in meeting for coffee/play? My son is 12mos but we're interested in meeting any age. I'm in Hampstead (NW3) but can travel.

Hi, there are a few of us here. I'm outer london but very south!

IlanaK · 28/08/2004 19:56

Well, I consider myself sort of AP. I babywear, bf and cloth nappy. I am in NW1 near Baker Street. I have a 3 year old and an 11 week old.

It doesn't look like we're going to get any more takers here.

Paularat, I tried sending you an email to meet south somewhere (on Jubilee line is best) with no luck. Send me a message if you'd like to meet. You could also check my posting on the AP forum on UKparents.co.uk, but it might be far for you to travel.

Iliana, I'm only sort of AP myself, but I think we're already in contact on the other site. See you there!

Just spotted this. Am an AP (as per IlanaK) and also based near Baker St. Perhaps start up some e-mail contact via CAT?

IlanaK · 11/10/2004 20:15

Hi softymom, I have emailed you.

Arabica · 12/10/2004 14:38

I think I may be AP. In my case it means co-sleeping, BF on demand, always responding to cries and no sleep training. Is that what you mean?

Arabica · 12/10/2004 14:58

Should have added, in which case, would be interested to meet others and hear how it's worked for you! My boy's 3.5 though--too old? We are in N London but can travel.

IlanaK · 13/10/2004 17:19

Hi Arabica, My understanding of AP is that it means responding to and being in tune with your baby's needs. For many, this includes babywearing, breastfeeding, co-sleeping, etc. We do not co-sleep.

My ds1 is also 3. I am meeting up on Monday with a couple of other APers. One is from another site, the other is just a friend of mine from locally and I believe softymom is coming too. I am quite happy to throw this open to anyone else who wants to come. Some are meeting at my flat and softymom is joining us later at a local playground. I live near Baker St if this helps.

Arabica · 13/10/2004 23:20

Then I, too, am an AP!! We don't co-sleep any more--but it was DS' decision when we stopped. Unfortunately I won't be around on Monday as I am off to Museum of Childhood. Mondays are great for me usually as we don't have any regular activities. So another Monday would be fab for me. I hope you enjoy your meet-up.
