Islington, Highbury, Dalston or nearby - any mums out there?

My ds is almost 6 months old and I don't know many mums, feel quite lonely sometimes. Is there anyone out there who feels the same and would like to meet up? I have been to several baby classes and enjoyed them but it would be nice to get in touch with someone who wants to meet from time to time and do things together, like going for a coffee, walks, chatting etc. Have never posted a message like that before, feels a bit strange to admit feeling lonely....

I'm in Islington but my kids are 13 and 10, so a bit of a big age gap really

Hi Smilie. I live in Highbury and have a ten and a half month old dd. Would love to meet up but the only problem is that I have now gone back to work full time as I found being a SAHM lonely and (I hate to admit) a bit boring.

I am up for meeting up for the odd walk or coffee at weekends though so let me know if you'd like to. BTW have you tried the two o clock club in Highbury fields? It's open 12-4 in the summer holidays and is quite a good place to meet other mums. There is a special cordoned off baby area but it's especially nice in the summer because they have their own section of the fields.

Let me know if you want to meet up. I hope it gets better for you.

Hi Smilie, I live in N1 with an 8-month old dd2 and two older ones, but I try (!) to work during the days and have the older two around after school. Why don't you try to make it to the City meetup in Pizza Pomodoro on Tuesday 7th September?
