I know there's a few of us out there,so if anyone fancies chatting and perhaps meeting up sometime for play dates, soft play or even a coffee let me know.
I have 2 boys-23 months and a 4 week old baby.

Hi Bubbaloo

I'm in Hornchurch which is not that far. I have a 2.5 year old girl.

Bubbaloo · 19/05/2007 09:57

Hi Flowertots,

Hornchurch isn't far when you've got a car. We're actually hoping to move there at the end of the year.
Is your dd in pre-school yet?-ds1 starts in Jan when he's 2.5.

Hi Bubbaloo
Yes, mines at a local pre-school which is FANTASTIC!!! Whereabouts you thinking of moving? Have no car unfortunately but am starting to take lessons as soon as I pass my theory. Would be great to meet up.

Bubbaloo · 19/05/2007 17:18

We're not too sure at the mo.Ideally we'd like to move to Upminster due to the schools mainly, but our second choice is Hornchurch.
Have you got a date for your theory yet?

Hi Bubbaloo, don't know if you remember me - I was Pinotmum. Congrats on your new baby ds. What pre-school will your ds be going to? Is it one of the Chadwell Heath ones - the one beginning with S or the one beginning with C? Can't believe he's old enough nearly. My ds is starting Reception in Sept - where does the time go??

Flowertots · 19/05/2007 18:01

Hi Bubbaloo
The difference in schools between Hornchurch and Upminster is not that much by the looks of it, main difference appears to be in the house prices. Have not set a date for my theory as I'm still waiting for my provisional licence to come through. Do you drive?

Bubbaloo · 19/05/2007 19:14

Hiya RLYL,of course I remember you-I don't know the name of the pre-school off hand but it's the one in R Avenue.I have been told it's very good there,so we'll check it out nearer the time.I've also got to contact the nursery again when he's 2 years old and go and look round there too.
Obviously if we do move, then I'll have to find somewhere else but I'll cross that bridge when and if I get to it.
Also can't believe how the time flies and that only 2 years ago it was just me and dh-now there's 4 of us.How old are your 2 now?
Flowertots-I know the schools in Upminster are very good but like you say, some of the house prices are verging on ridiculous.Yes,I drive-I'd be lost without my little car.

My 2 are 6.6 yo and 4.6 yo now . I know the one you are talking about and it does have a great reputation in the area. Staff are all well-trained and approachable. My 2 didn't go there as we live just round the corner from the other one but I know this pre-school really, really well and lots of the staff.

Bubbaloo · 19/05/2007 19:32

Wow...time certainly does fly!

That's really good news about that pre-school.I have heard it's very good.It all seems like a bit of a minefield when it comes to schools and nurseries etc...so it's nice to have that reassurance.
