Hi! I moved to Langstone near Newport recently with my 6 year old son, Ben, having been a Valleys girl in exile in Essex for 13 years! It's lovely to be back in Wales, but I'd love to meet up with other mums in the area for family days out at weekends, as I am a 43-year old working lone parent and I don't really know anyone in the area (sad old Billy no-mates that I am!). The New Inn at Langstone is an excellent child-friendly and cheap pub/restaurant with a play area if anyone fancies meeting up? (If you know the area, yuo'll no doubt know the new Inn!)
