Anyone from the Braintree Area

Hi my name is Caroline, i'm 41 and mum to Daisy who is almost a year. We moved up to Braintree from Sussex 10 months ago and although we have made some lovely new friends I would always welcome getting to know other mums in the area.

There are a few Colchester mums. Not sure about Braintree though. Welcome to MN

Many thanks for your reply. Are you from Colchester? I have just been distracted by the post started by vvvvvv etc and noticed you had posted on there. I didn't realise whoever she is/was could get away with some of the things she had written... still it did amuse me!

Yes I am. JARM is too and Franny & Zooey! Others are close too.

I have to admit I prefer Colchester to Braintree! I do try and get over there every so often but as I don't drive I have to rely on public transport. Do you ever arange Mumsnet meet ups in Colchester?

We have had one - 4 years ago! I sometimes meet JARM for a coffee - you would be welcome next time. We tend to not have the dc with us though
