I'd be up for it. I had another thought: what about Clapham Common? It has a good cafe (oom pa pa, at the bandstand) a short walk from the playground, parking (the little road behind the Windmill pub) and good public transort. Or Dulwich Park - good cafe, playground, parking etc - but less public transport.

We have done Hornimann, and I feel that I have become such a fixture in the place that I will end up stuffed in a case when my time comes - but it's always a good venue and meets all the criteria.

I've been a fixture in the Horniman so long I suspect I qualify as a Horniwoman;o. V easy to get to from the Inferiority Complex, and dd1 v fond of it.

Someone name a day.

DS1 is having swimming lessons everyday next week at the unfeasably early time of 9am, and as its a good 25 min drive away I shall be getting up EARLIER than during termtime (grumble grumble) so I don't mind whether we do morning, lunch or afternoon.

There was a reason why I kept thinking Dulwich Park....I had a phone call today reminding me that a load of Mums and kids from DS1s class are meeting up ......on Friday at 12 in Dulwich!

Sorry! I'll have to skip the Hornimanns one this time, but I'll have my MN badge on DDs buggy in case you drift over to the park at all!
