Am new to the site, moved to fair Oak in August, my Son will be going to school in Sept and as he doesn't go to a pre-school in the area he doesn't know any other children. Anyone who's children will be joining fair oak school in Sept??

I work full time but am happy to meet up at the weekend or even meet for coffee (not that there are many places in Fair oak!) in my lunch break

I also work full time, in Wickham at the moment but my company is moving to Micheldever later this year.

Maybe we could meet with the children one weekend, maybe at a park if the weather's good.

yes that would be good
there are a few others around Fair Oak/Eastleigh area so may start a thread for a meet up if you want

anitta · 16/04/2007 15:01

That sounds good, I'm pretty useless with this site and just loose track of the conversations completely.

whoopsfallenoveragain · 16/04/2007 16:22

Me too unless it is in threads I'm on or pops up in active convos!

anitta · 17/04/2007 12:32

I know it sounds stupid, but I don't like to butt into other people's conversations because it seems rude, but that's what it's all about really.

Where do you work in Fair Oak then?

whoopsfallenoveragain · 17/04/2007 18:18

I know what you mean, maybe come into the tea room or bar sometime they're very friendly in there.
I work at the solicitors in the square

anitta · 18/04/2007 07:45

I have seen the tea room and bar, get a little lost reading it though. Maybe will pop in one day. I don't really know how you all find time to spend so long chatting, I never seem to get alot of spare time. I'm not all that busy at work these days so tend to use the internet here instead of at home.

whoopsfallenoveragain · 18/04/2007 12:00

I tend to go in the bar in the evenings but not so much now as have restarted going to the gym!
I sneak on here at work when I'm bored!

anitta · 18/04/2007 12:51

Always bored so am on the internet alot of the day, work is so quiet these days. Bit worried about them noticing that I'm in a chat room, but suppose it's no worse than actually being on the internet.

I find it quite interesting reading people's conversations on this site, I'm obviously such a nosey person!!
