Inspiration needed for term of endearment!!

Hi... in the films people pass jewellery to eac h other with engravings on that just say the perfect thing. I'm buying my partner a v.expensive watch for his bithday from me and our 2 v.young kids and want to get it engraved on the back to make it extra special.

There's so much I could say to him (loving thoughts only of course ) but I'm having real trouble coming up with something poingnant and short enough to fit on the back....any poets etc out there who could come up with some inspiraion for me??? Strange one this I know as I feel something should flow out of me automatically......but it doesn't!!

For inspiration you could look in catalogues in the jewellery sections as a lot of things have words engraved on. I got these from Past Times (an old catalogue).

what about googling for love quotes or something like that? There are loads of sites with famous - or not so famous ones - that might give some something to go by.
