We’ve been actively looking in the Chepstow area – particularly Shirenewton as we’re looking to relocate away from London to start a life in the country!
I’m from North Wales and my fiancé is from Bristol so when we stumbled upon the area of Chepstow we were immediately drawn to it with its easy access to Bristol/Cardiff but it’s real countryside feel.
The idea would be to start a new life in a forever home and hopefully start a family so after lots of research the only sticking point that we don’t feel 100% certain on is how easily it would be for two 30 something city dwellers to fit back in to village/town life… particularly how much there is going on within the community for new mum’s.
I’ve had a look online and found a few things on mumsnet re people who have moved to the area but they’re all quite old posts so any new info would be greatly appreciated!!
